ISC and AC

well i was looking and couldnt really find a good answer for this

but i was debating on removing my isc but does that cause any issues with idle when my ac is on? or do i just have to raise the idle to compensate for it?

thanks

Why remove the ISC? It's not in the way, it won't get you any performance, and it does it's job quite well.

It does compensate for electrical load, power steering load, and AC load, so you can have idle issues with it removed. IMHO there's just no good reason to remove it.

There are only two reasons to remove it.
(1) the more modded the engine, the less effective it becomes in working properly; if not working then remove it.
(2) with the O2 sensor and ISC totally turnned off and disconnected, you have direct control of idle timing, and idle AFRs.

Run a bit higher idle so when the a/c comes on it still idles to your satisfaction.
