Intake air temp
Now that I have a datalogit wit my PFC, I see that there are setting for the computer to add additional fuel to compensate for colder intake air temps. My concern is with the sensitivity of the intake air temp sensor. It seems to take a while for the temp to respond to what is truly going on. I know it is taking a reading from the intake manifold and was curious if anybody has attempted to move their sensor to a more ideal spot. Is the sensor actually in contact with the air or is it just taking a reading from the manifold? I think that it is taking one from the manifold and not the actual air and that's why it seems to lag a lot with changes in temps. I know after I've been sitting in traffic for a while it takes quite some time before temps start to get in the normal range. If anybody has any ideas or insite on this please inform us all.
