Idle problems

hi...im having some problems with idling the car...after it was streetported i was having an idle problem...i always had 850cc and 1300cc injectors before and after the rebuild but now the injectors operate at about 4.8% duty cycle on the commander...i remember before it would idle close to 3.2% duty cycle...the tuner said that he cant get it to idle any leaner although i dont understand why...

aside from idling rich...when the engine is revved it would stall on decel...(this made driving a total pain in the *** btw)...the tuner couldnt figure it out at all...

arghx thread he made about fixing idle problems was extremely helpful so i raised the decel fuel cut rpm to about 2000rpm on the three parameters and i had eventually let out the idle air screw about 3 turns out...this helped alot but it still stalled with the a/c on at about 5000rpm...

should i raise the decel fuel cut?...would that be too high?...should i let out more turns on the idle screw?..i read on arghx's thread that he used 1/4 turn to 1/2 turn...probably it is stalling because of the overly rich mixture as well?...what could possibly be the reason for the injectors to not flow less on idle?...i am going to get tuned by another tuner soon...

Find a new tuner. If someone is tuning the car, he should be fixing this.

i checked and adjusted the dashpot when i was doing the steps in your thread...the dashpot was sticking and i cleaned it up with some carb cleaner and adjusted it as per the fsm...but still has the problems...i will try adjusting the idle screw some more...

i spoke to the new tuner today and we scheduled for a time next week...so hopefully he can sort out the light throttle and idle problems with tuning...i was very surprised when the last tuner said he is not sure about the problems...

just an update...got the car to work fine...turns out something (a piece of rubber?) was actually blocking the jets of the primary injectors...took out the injectors to check for a leaks but found that...injectors were fine...put it back in and car worked like a charm...no delayed response no stalling...i would have reverse the adjustments i did with the decel fuel cut and the idle air screw though because the rpm would hold for a few seconds before dropping back to idle...
