How to richen base maps?

Right now im running a small single setup w stock injectors. and my wastegate spring is at 10 psi. I dont plan on going anymore above that til i can afford all the necessary stuff such as injectors, boost controller, etc.

So i was wondering what can be done to richen my base maps with the POWER FC? I have the commander but no datalogit. My friend told me if i go into the injector settings and change the, ms to +.15 or something it should run a little richer all accross the board to make it a little safer to come on boost. Even tho i have done this im still afraid to push it to 10 psi til i know forsure i have richened up the map completely. Should it be safe to boost if i richened up the map considering stock boost is 10 psi as well?

I would add fuel to the PIM settings before I touched the injector settings.

The PIM Settings: you can add fuel to certain RPM ranges or boost sensor voltages for certain boost levels.

I would bump the fuel up in the voltage ranges under the PIM settings and still not boost. You need a wide band 02 before you know for sure if you are running safe AFRs under any amount of boost.

If you read the PFC manual, it tells of many ways to do it.

i dont have the manual, i bought it used from someone and it came from SR Motorsports. =\ If i do it several different ways to make sure its running very rich 4000+rpm do you think it is safe to boost 10 psi?

Just pick up a wideband 02. Cheap way to know for sure.

I want to buy a wideband! $350+! i wont be able to buy one until after xmas.

well thanks for the link, i read thru it and i see that i cud use some of these methods to richen up the mixture. Please correct me if im wrong!

I could go thru each cell in the injmap and up the fuel like 3 or 4 points.

then go to the PIM volt screen and for the rpm ranges 4000 - 8000 i could increase it over 100% to like 110%-115% for each one?

and how much should i do the injector lag time...or should i just turn it back to +0.0ms?

would this help me boost 10 psi safely? its a small single, im guessing would supply as much power as stock twins non-seq. Its equivalent to a t04E/B i guess.

Wouldn't risk it myself, but it's your engine. I'd just drive off boost until the car had a wideband on it, the extra mpg will help the savings fund

alright i had to do it, cause it seemed to be the one most important upgrade for having single. I ordered the kieth rail and some 1600cc injectors.

No, you have different sized injectors and the numbers in the INJ Map will not match up for you and your desired AFRs. Plus, don't you have a ported motor, your timing maps will need to be adjusted also.

To be as safe as you can (which still will/could lead to problems) with borrowing maps from someone else, you need to find some one with similar porting, turbo and fuel injectors.
