I had the 1100-1500 hunt going like mad for 10 or so seconds after any blip of the throttle. FWIW, this problem emerged after a street port rebuild, and the install of a lightweight flywheel.

My mechanic adjusted the various idle settings and - for now - I'm good to go. Sorry, I don't have specific details of adjustment... I just want everyone to know that this problem may be solved using PFC adjustmets.

I had the same bouncing idle. The car would idle at 2000 rpms on a cold startup and would take FOREVER to come down to 1000 rpm. Then it would bounce between 1000 and 1500 everytime I came to a stop. Today, I unplugged the idle speed control and the car cranked and idled exactly like it should. I thought everything was perfect until I let the car warm up and drove off. On my way to work, everytime I would have to stop for either traffic or a light...the car would idle between 400 and 500 rpm and almost stalled a couple of times. As I pulled into the parking space at work, it stalled out. I went and got a screwdriver and was going to adjust the valve underneath the throttle body when I remembered that a local guru had once adjusted my idle at a different spot. Just in front of the throttle body there is a small screw with a nut tightened around it. I loosened the nut and adjusted the screw, and now my car idles solid as a rock between 900rpm and 1100 rpm, depending on the ac/electrical load. I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I figured I would post up my experience.

took off the white plug on the ISC, solved my idle problem right away. If you are still haveing problems try changing the idle settings.
