if you ordrer your power fc from sr motorsports they can tune it to your mods over the phone and you will be ok to drive as far as you like and take it to the dyno at your convience. i've had my power fc from them since march and i'm finally getting it tuned tommorow

hmmm, that sounds like a good plan. Are there any other places that do that? Also how much did that cost?

Scrub,

Do you have anyone near you that has a datalogit and wideband o2 sensor? That is the BEST way to tune.

Sending away for a map will get you something that is CLOSE to what you need, but still PIG rich (think of liability reasons.)

I also would NOT trust any tuner that does not run a log file of the runs / dyno session and tunes by values flashing by on a gauge/screen. Give me a break!

If you were closer, I'd say drive out here and I'll tune your car. Heck, we have a dyno event happening here Oct. 11th, too! I'll have at least 3 if not 5 cars tuned and ready for some solid numbers by then.

Datalogit. Wideband. These are my friends.

Tony

The only tuners i have around me is KDR and Peter Ferral that i know of. What i was thinking of doing was what streetdreamzny said and get it them to map it for my mods, just so it will run without me worrying about running lean or anything like that. Then driving it to PF and having it dyno tuned there.

The base map that comes with the PowerFC will be more than adequate to get you to KD with those mods.

"The ONLY tuners I have around me is KDR and..."

We should all be so lucky.

I'll take Dave over nobody, sure!

Sounds like a plan. Again, as mentioned, the base map should be plenty safe as long as your boost levels are under control.

Make sure the tuning session is logged with WB O2!

Tune by that log!
