Sounds good thank you!
Yes air pump and ACV are gone, as is the cat.
When I turn out the idle screw and the plates are all the way closed it will still idle but very rough and my TPS goes down as you said. Even when the screw is out all the way (to the point where it isnt opening the plates at all) the TPS is still out of spec. VTA1 will usually be within but VTA2 will be higher than it should be

As far as vacuum goes its around -500mmhg at 1100 or so so that seems to be ok but there still may be air coming in.
Should the IGN CNTRL be ON with the IAC disconnected? When my idle is surging the timing goes all over the place, but when its idling steady it maintains consistant timing.
Just cant figure out why its SPORADIC! Couldnt get it to happen yesterday just sitting there, but as soon as i drive it it starts... go figure.
If TPS dosent do it, a datalogit and AFR are going to help me a lot. But it will have to be in spring =(

I had a very similar issue when I went to pfc. The cause of my issue was the lower intake manifold gasket was old and caused my vacuum leaks.
Here is my thread:

Awesome thanks!
Ive seen that thread!
Over the winter im going full non sequential so I planned to replace all my gaskets at that time! So heopfully the new gaskets and reduced vacuum hoses will help!
I plan to go through the "priority list" as arghx stated and start with vacuum and go from there!

Alright! So I turned IG CNTRL back to ON and the problem seems to have gone away, idle is just REALLY low and rich now, almost wants to die. Ill set the TPS this week and make sure its back in spec then get those set screws to where its supposed to be.
Unfortunately im pretty well out of time for the year here in Canada so everything else will have to wait until spring.

Shes coming out of storage in the next few weeks. I have a big time feeling that this has alot to do with 20 year old gaskets and vacuum lines.
I purchased a set of non-sequential stock turbos. So i will be swapping those in, replacing the UIM and LIM gaskets, various o-rings and ALL leftover vacuum lines. After that a good tune should iron out everything else.
I am also going to be picking up my datalogit and a AF ratio gauge so i can better tell whats going on.
Wish me luck, ill keep you all posted!

I have a similar high idle issue.
my tps values at idle are 0.39V and 0.95V, within range.
if I block the air port to the isc with my thumb the idle will go to 700 or less and eventually stall, same when I disconnect the isc valve.
the valve tested at 13 ohms which is higher than spec (10.7 - 12.3) so I'm going to try a different isc valve.
