help w/ different idle question..
Well I installed my pfc w/ comm. last night. I have more mods than it is set for so just drove it around w/ out getting into boost. Everything went smooth w/ install. Did the 10 minutes no load, w/ load, etc. and it cleaned right up to steady idle. Don't have a/c or air pump by the way. When getting out of normal cruising, (eg. pulling off to come to a redlight/stop..etc.) The car will hunt from 650 to 1250 just a couple of times and then steady back out to 850. I have played w/ my idle screw and no difference. Max RPM is 6000 and max knock was 46. Being real easy until tune.. Any insights? Thanks Garret...

Also adjust your Rev/Idle settings Try F/C A-E 1450, F/C E/L 1450, F/C A/C 1450, Idle A-E 700, Idle E/L 750, Idle A/C 900rpm. If it still does it, raise the F/C another 50 and that should cure your problem. You might also need to adjust the bleed screws some more as well.

Well every car is different try lowering the F/C points. You are gonna have to toy with the PFC settings and the idle screws for your problem. I've spent hours toying with mine and its still not where I want it. Motor is race ported so I've come to accept the fact that shes not gonna idle like she did when stock.

I found no vac leaks.I am non-seq. so not to much to look for..Sprayed around manifolds and no rpm jumps of any kind. I have been constantly toying w/ my rpm settings. A bit lower than what was suggested is making it better. If anybody reads this I guess i need to swtich off the seq control system since i am parallel.. Does not matter now because I am driving and not getting into boost..A few more goodies needed before I set a date w/ tuner....
