going from twins to big single and datalogit
Just a quick Question
If going from stock twins to a big single such as a gt35/40 with proper mods such as 550,1300 n all. would a person just make changes to the injector correction map or would a person have to tune the fuel injection base map on the datalogit?lets say the goal was 400rwhp.
only asking because the manual says when big changes are made the base injector map needs to be corrected.
can anyone shed some light on this issue?still deciding if i should go with powerfc+datalogit or a haltech,im on my own with tuning.
Thanks

Both the PFC+Datalogit or the Haltech will work fine.
Either way, when you change that many things you have to make a lot of changes to the map so I don't see how one would be better then the other. Just go with whatever you know best, or whichever you can get the best support for...

Thanks for clearing that up...ive learned the haltech a bit. now regarding the pfc and the datalogit,if i switched over from stock twins to big single do i need to make changes to the fuel injection base map or will just modifying the injector correction map be good enough?
Thanks
Thanks

You should tune for the single turbo when switching from stock twins. A big single will change your VE and therefore you will ingest more air at the same boost; the motor should need more fuel.
