Gm Ait

All,

I know most haltech users upgrade to the GM Air Intake Thermosensor. Does anyone know if it is compatible for us using the PFC? My stock thermosensor is shot, and I need to replace. I would like to use the GM if it won't cause any problems. I hear it's slightly more accurate and insulated.

Any advice?

It will work fine, but you will need to retap your UIM or relocated it.

Many thanks!

Is this something you all suggest over relocating or replacing with a stock AIT?

Relocating the AIT that is of GM type is the best solution posible IMO.

If you are on the datalogit board, Chuck Westerbrook has done some recent testing with the GM unit and reports on it there.

Here is the link but unless you are a member I don't think you can get access.

You might try giving Chuck a shout on this forum and ask him to repost
