Power FC Fuel curves crossing - help?

Fuel curves crossing - help?

My car is currently running well and has fairly typical modifications (intake/exhaust/IC/PFC)
I found that tuning full boost was relatively easy - I have lots of smooth power and the AFRs look good
However, I'm having a bit of an issue when tuning the "transition area". In particular I'm finding that I'm ending up with a map that has more fuel in rows p15/p16 than in row p17 (p17 is full boost). Especially in columns 6-10
Any tips on getting my fuel curves sorted out?
I assume that I'm doing something wrong

Copy and paste your base map (make sure you re-calc base to include any corrections) in excel and display it as a line graph, it should jump out at you pretty quick what areas are off, the lines should be mostly similar and stacked on top of each other. I like to use "lines with points" option as it better helps me identify what cell in the fuel map im looking at when I see a point on one of the lines that clearly doesn't match the rest.

When I load it up in Excel, both rows are fairly smooth, just different contours
p15/p16 start below p17, then go above, then down below it again

How important is it to smooth my current curves before the next tuning session? Or should I just be concerned about smoothing once things are closer to ideal?

Ideally, you want something like this.... If they are crossing under boost, you have done it wrong. You'll find when its PERFECTLY tuned that the lines under boost are fairly linear and pretty evenly spaced.

this is from a smallish port with FD twins if I remember right.

Has no one ever posted a properly tuned map for cars with stock twins/ports and an intake/SMIC/exhaust?
Seems like a very common configuration, but I feel like I've seen everything but that in the "example" maps
I know the base map is designed for those modifications, but it is a rough tune only

Every car will breath different even if they have the same mods so there is no such thing as a properly tuned map for your setup until it is properly tuned ON YOUR CAR.

I have my boost set to the stock PFC map settings right now, and using that I'm able to map row p17 (max boost) quite well. What should the PFC boost settings be changed to to allow me to reduce boost in order to map p16, p15 et cetera accurately also?

Well that also varies with every car due to different altitudes and intake/exhaust restriction. I would say incrementally lower the "duty" and "boost" settings, alternating between each.

So your default settings are

Pr .80 56
Sc .70 64

Try dropping 4% duty. then drop .05 kg/cm^2, then drop 4% duty again. See what happens when you do that pattern.

So you would do .80 52/.70 60 then .75 52/.64 60 then .75 48/.64 56 . Or you could drop it 6% duty at a time. It's not an exact thing, but boost control tuning rarely is.
