Power FC FP relay (speed) functional?

FP relay (speed) functional?
Does the PFC utilize the FP speed relay the same as the stock ecu for idle and cruise? I'd go check my FP voltages but the car is hibernating under a snow bank for the next 3 months. Thanks.
