FIXED: interface not responding... here's how

some companies are sending the units out with a "NULL MODEM" serial extension cable. YOU CAN NOT USE THIS!!!!
i wish i had noticed this sooner, but anyways, i switched to a normal serial port extension cable and BAM the basic *** usb converter that came with the box works beautifully!
anyways, this may or may not be the issue for some of you but CHECK THE SERIAL EXTENSION CABLE coming off the datalogit itself!!!!!
