Fc Comander

HI all

how far can i go wtih mapping my apexi ecu using just the comander and a LM1 wide band reader, i had a bloke with a datalogit put a rich map on and the 1680 injectors but the air fuel ratio is running at 11.2 .
i have the wideband fitted in the decat pipe so i dont get any false readings due to overheating.

also i am fitting an AVC-R , has anyone fitted this combo before and have some fitting tips for me please as im not sure what it means when it says disconect the factory boost control solonoid valve.

regards

chris

Without a datalogit, you can only accurately tune idle and cruise areas(constant rpms).

With map trace on, you can pull through a small area of cells, and observe the AFRs and then go adjust those cells. Then repeat the process until you have reached your target AFR. Then move onto the more cells. This way is very time consuming, and not as accurate.

Nothing wrong with a 11.2AFR if that is for about 14-15psi boost..

Datalogit and laptop are the only way to go.
