do you have to use the oem sensors

not on an rx7 but you guys seem to have an awesome knowledge on the power fc..
ive just removed a haltech e6k from my celica gt4 and am replacing it with the power fc,i have the gm water and air temp sensors still installed on the car, will the power fc work fine with these or will i need to refit the toyota sensors?
just asking as i have had the gm sensors helicoiled in so to refit the oem sensors would be a little difficult lol
thanks guys

To be accurate, they would have the same voltage curve as stock, otherwise the reading would be off. You can live with that if you calibrate the readings so you know exactly what they respresent.

You can not change the PFC software to calibrate to the non OEM sensors.
