Do Apexi PFC come pre-programmed?
I just purchased a 3rd gen RX7 with M2 intake, downpipe, and free flow cat and am going to install a RB catback Friday. I need an Apexi PFC and so I was wondering if these come pre-programmed or will I have to have that done separately, etc. Any suggestions?

they come with a base map but you will need to get it tuned on your car just like evry other ecu. if those are your only mods then you might be okay but you will need to get a dataloggit wideband sensor soon.

The 7.07 base map should cover those mods and still be rich. Don't waste your money on paying for a "tuned map." Put the money towards a Datalogit and a wideband O2 sensor like from OZ DIY WB (Peter is a good guy!)
Of course having all that will put you back about the same price as the PFC. Again, for your mods, the base map will still be rich. I ran 317RWHP on the base map alone (all cars are different, though.)
Best bet, find someone who has all that near you. Then find someone who can use it! Or learn.

Send me an exact list of your mods and full name and email address in a PM.
When you order the PFC tell Jason (or Zavier) ask if it is in stock. If they are sending from stock, have them let me know and I'll drive over there and check out the basemap.

Ghost Ride the Whip
I ran an intercooler, intake, downpipe, and catback exhaust with greddy pulleys with the base maps on the power fc, it was still safe...
of course if you get it tuned, i'm sure a lot more power can be extracted

With my mods, it will increase the amt. of boost I am making, and the stock ECU can not compensate for this, thus I lean out under WOT.
Am I correct in this and thus why I need a PFC?
