Datalogit logging issues with Windows 7
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Datalogit is running and I can log for a little bit, but after about 5 minutes the whole system crashes. Never has stability issues when I am not logging. Is this common? Should I put a partition for XP and use that for logging?

I'm using win7 64bit also and am not having any problems, what kind of computer are you running? I would make sure you have enough system resources for it, system ram, hdd space etc. I can log for hours with no issues, Also what brand cable are you using? I had an older one from radioshack that i used to log on my xp laptop and and win7 32bit laptop, but when i bought my new one in 64bit it would detect the cable but would freeze up and give me errors with the datalogit, Went to radioshack and bout a new one from gigaware part #26-949 and it works like a dream.

i think the minimum for win7 64bit is 2gb of ram, so maybe when logging it just runs out of system resources and crashes. not to sure, you could always try a xp partition and just run the basics and see if it works or not.
