Considering doing PFC right now or waiting till more parts
have just intake/downpipe right now, stock ecu, otherwise stock car... not going to add a catback without a PFC, however i'm wondering with the "base maps" provided with the unit and no custom tuning, are there any gains over just having the bolt ons alone? If not, i'd rather do a string of mods next round w/ the pfc vs. just installing the pfc

No 3K stumble, smoother idle, ability with DATALOGIT to have the cooling fans come on before the engine starts to overheat: all good reasons to not wait.
And you can start learning about tuning before it is really needed. That is if you have the guts to do it.

BoostFrenzy: I was exactly in your position and ended up getting the PFC. IMO it was the right move. The PFC installation was easy, follow instructions available at this forum, (just plug in and fire the car up). Horsepower increase was immediately noticable. Much more than the intake/downpipe offered. I have since added an intercooler. The car runs quiet looks stock but has about 300Hp.
