Challenge Anyone? Pfc Tunning
I have had my PFC for a little over a week ive look at almost everything on this forum and the web about how to tune my PFC but havent been successful. Im not trying to get it in the performance area yet, I just want it to not run so darn rich! It is running so rich at idle that gas is getting into the oil.
If someone wouldnt mind helping me to get it tuned well enough to drive down the road and to the body shop it would awsome!
Street port
upgraded twins running parallel
no rats nest
no egr valve, smog pump or other emmission parts
full 3" exhaust
K&N INTAKE
Doublr throttle removed
no throttle coolant
Front mount NPR intercooler
1600cc secondary &
bigger fuel rail
PWR radiator
Air separator tank eliminated
Turbo XS fuel regulator
walbro 255 fuel pump
9.5mm sparkplug wires
Power FC
Thanks,
Daniel

Is your FPR set at a usable range?
You need a wideband and the datalogit to properly tune a car, even for idle or vacuum ranges. I didn't see either of those items on your mod list.

fart on a friends head!!!
you need to contact bryan with bnr supercars. . . he goes by feared7 here on the boards. hes pretty good friends with steve kan and happens to be talking about setting up a tuning session out there in alabama. he might be able to hook you up with someone in order to help out with the tuning as well (before steve gets there). i hope that helps. . . steve is a great tuner. . . just contact bryan on the costs. . . i think the going rate at the moment is 350 (paid to steve) + whatever the dyno costs you.
word to the wise. . . if you tune on the dyno. . . MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS READY!!!!! . . . as in. . . make sure EVERYTHING is working properly and up to par for at least 10-15 pulls on the dyno.

Yeah Brian built the engine and turbos, he gave me a few friends numbers to call, and I thought I might have had someone to help but he hasnt returned my calls after the first.
So what I need to shoot for is the datalogit program and a wideband o2. I already have the commander, does that help?
(quick spoolin) If you wouldnt mind the maps would be awsome!
Thanks for helping!! I was on my hands and knees before I signed up with the forum. Im going to try and help the same for everyone else if I can!

If you have the commander, why can't you tune your idle and cruise areas by yourself. You do not need a wideband for that. You show stock primary injectors, not 850s, so you do not need the DL for that.
What is stopping you?

Then why not ask someone to send you them in English PDF format?
It is also on some websites. I just did a web GOOGLE search on "APEXI PFC manual" and found it on the second hit.
Show some initative!

Well I guess I searched the wrong wording. Thanks for your help! After spending 5K+ on this car, of course I have taken the initative to get it going.
