Car wont boost since Power FC install

Hey guys... well weather is opening up so i thought id take my Project FD3s for a ride...

well spent all winter with a HOLSET HE500 single conversion, installed a power fc instead of the Emanage Ultimate to get rid of the ratsnest and all the useless sensors and wiring loom... anyhow .

Current Setup:

Holset HE500 Turbo (big *** motherf*#!er)
850 Primaries / 2000 Secondaries
Power FC
streetported engine
dual fuelpump Setup
blocked off all of the emissions stuff / runnin premix / omp removed/ 4" straight through exhaust... / and so on.

Well car runs a Little bit on the rich side as i wanted to map it myself as i did
with my Brothers MKIV Supra with his Holset conversion...
it idles fine, drives arround fine as Long as im not hitting boost...

but as soon as the Turbo starts to spool (0.1 bar) A/F Ratio Drops to 10.0 and then it stalls ... its like im hitting fuel cut. excact same Feeling! no excessive smoke so i dont think it runs too rich and floods as there is no popping or Smoking or anything else... as soon as i take my foot of the gas it drives fine again.
So i guess im hitting fuel cut for some reason...

I resetted the ECU ... (welldone... dont have a datalogit so my secondaries are now set as 1640s as thats the max i can go ... deadtime is set allright though so that shouldnt be the issue...i guess!??)

Do i Need to Change any Settings for boost with a resetted Power FC?
Wastegate got a 15 psi spring so i shouldnt see over 15 psi if it would spool without stalling...

anyone got any ideas what could be the cause of that? ive got 5 weeks time untill the 1/4 mile season starts and i Need to sort it out as soon as possible...

thanks in advance guys

make sure your map sensor is plugged in. Its located on a little metal bracket on the firewall just to the right of the upper intake manifold and I think its right above the throttle body =-)

thanks for the advice mate but its plugged in as supposed to! Car runs fine off boost... and the powerfc Shows neg. manifold pressure... so i guess the map is working fine! just stalls under boost ...

You may be dumping TOMUCh fuel into it and drowning the spark .

When I had my aftermarket Fuel pressure regulator it did thesame thing when ever I went into boost it Bucked , I disconnected the Vacume hose that went to the rising rate FPR , and drove it . and it was still running on the very rich side , But when I boosted it didnt stutter. Tomuch fuel = drowning spark

ok so it IS possible that im drowning it ... will lean it 2morrow and check again
what do you guys drive as a target A/F on negative boost while cruising? and whats a good target on boost? thinking about leaning it out to 11.5 (running 101 octane fuel.)

octane has to do mostly with timing ,

As for how lean . I cruise at 14.7-15 afrs , thats in the light load cells .

and in boost light boost at 12 afr / after 10 psi 11.2 is target for me . but I run on the rich side in boost

you're welcome I'm by no means a pro at this . Since You are looking into doing your own tunning i would suggest that you join the PFC tunning group , and get in touch with AGRHX , here or in the PFC section. for getting the car tuned correctly .

Just to setup your injectors correctly takes a Data Logit box and software!
Then there is much more that has to be changed.
I suggest strongly that you junk those lousy 850 primaries and get EV14/ID 725s.
They are a bitch to get to idle then accelerate smoothly.

Join the yahoo tuning group for most and best PFC/DL tuning. arghx is now in charge of it.

Find someone you can trust in the USA.
PAYPAL them money as a gift (no payment tax).
They purchase items and ship them to you or a friend in a adjacent country.
