Base stock map vs. base mod map
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a map that will work well with my setup. I have a downpipe, catback exhaust, y-pipe, greddy FMIC, and greddy intake. I still have my stock cat though. I compared my maps to the ones here http://opus.bloomcounty.org/~patrick/pfc/, and I'm assuming my PFC still has the base stock map. Will that be sufficient for my mods, or should I change to the base mod map. This is all before I drive to Dallas and get it tuned.

Well I took it out and drove for a bit. It felt good driving it, but I never really got on it. I'm kind of scared too. So i'm not really sure if I should change to the base mod map. Can anyone tell me if I need to change or what.

to change to base mod map, you will have to enter everything manually. You don't nmeed the car running to set these. Just turn the key to on where it will power the pfc. After entering everything click the key off and then start the car. That is how I go abouts changing my maps.
again base stock is to support intake and catback only
base mod is for dp, mp, catback, intake and IC

2.01 is the base stock map
5.08 is the base mod map.
Most recent PFC are version 5.08 which has the base mod map. I find that even the 5.08 map is not good enough, some areas are too lean and some are too rich.
