AVC-R wastegate actuation
this might be a really "fundamental" question but........................
i have noticed from my datalogit realtime chart log that my wastegate opens immediately upon positive boost. immediately being the first data sample ( around 4-5 per second) of positive. there is a numeric reading of 1 or 243. 243 being open.
my wastegate stays open w no indication of cycling to control boost the entire run. yet if i set a target boost i do get it. huh?
i run two TO4s and internal wastegates.
do others see a cycling in the WG% numbers when in boost? i am scratching my head and would apprecaite any info.
thanks,

Howard,
Awhile ago I was comparing the accuracy of my boost gauge, the PFC and another gauge in addition to verifying which connector (precontrol or wategate control) to use for a single setup, while recording a few datalogs. The logs were both sequential and nonsequential modes.
In all cases the value of the wastegate % was either 1 or 243. 243 under boost and 1 for vacuum. Only the precontrol value varied with boost
.
