Apexi ECU???
Can anyone tell me if you can use the Apexi Power FC without the hand controller? I.E - Can you just fit the ECU, have it mapped and be done with it?

Yes, you can use it without the hand controller. One would need the hand controller to do really basic changes with the PFC. The Datalogit pretty much gives you full control. If someone else has a Datalogit and can program the PFC for your car, you won't need the hand controller. It does supply lots of vital and good info however.

The commander is a great monitoring tool and allows you to make changes or monitor all the car's sensors without having a laptop in the car. It's well worth the $300 or so it costs, even if you do have the Datalogit and a laptop, IMO.

^^ what are your mods?
oops never mind. From this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/way-go-next-413552/
I gather that you have a a gutted cat, catback, DP and intake correct? What you need is a boost controller to keep you below 10 psi. THe stock ecu can haldle quite a bit of boltons as LONG as you stay below 10 psi...
