Does anyone know when a preprogammed APEXI Power FC is purchased what the preprogrammed settings such as boost levels are set at? Hope this makes scense. I just need to know what my settings will be at. I didnt get the handheld with it. They said it will just preprogrammed to meet my exhaust system. Thanks

That was a very bad mistake on your part. Order the Commander as well and don't install the PFC until you have it. I would never use the PFC wihout going through and verifying that the maps are OK first.

STop being cheap and spend the $200 for the commander.
The commander is pricesless.
Gives you so much info. alot cheaper than buying
a temp gauge, injector gauge, rpm gauge and the rest
of the 8 readings.. Plus the ability to see what
sensors are working and etc.. and the ability to
alil programming like REV limiter when car is at the shop
checking your boost setting and etc..
Goodluck.. BTW: Mail order tune settings is BS..

Ok ill take your word for it. I'll order it Tuesday. Hopefully I could figure out how to use the commander. Thanks

The commander is quite easy to use. If yours comes with jap. instructions just do a search in this forum for instructions and you can print out the english version.. like everyone is saying the commander is vital.
