Yes. Don't do it if you're running a cat. Deafening and black cloud of smoke. May be b/c my car wasn't fully warmed up. Did it at idle just once. Can't be too good for the turbos or cat.
It retards ignition by 40 degrees while dumping 50% more fuel every time the clutch is depressed. This causes the excess fuel to be combusted in the turbos rather than in the engine.

I think the WRC cars use a similar setup. I read somewhere on the forum that it DRAMATICALLY reduces turbo life . This isn't a problem for the WRC cars, becuase they don't use the same car for more than one rally anyway. Just what I heard.

It retards the timing by 40 or so ° when the clutch switch is engaged. (you T a wire into one of the GPIs of the datalogit)
This fills the exaust stream with unburt fuel. When you sidestep the timing jumps back to the map & all that unburnt fuel is ignited. The explosion creates boost creep so you leave the line with lots of boost.
