Anyone here not using the OMP?

As I reaserch all the possibilities of why my car is running like poop when it sees any boost. I'm considering the idea that it's going into limp mode.
So is anyone running the PFC with the OMP disconnected? I'm going to plug it in tomorrow to see if it cures the problem, but I would like some opinions anyway
Thanx

Yup, it's probably in limp mode.
I am running with PFC and the OMP just there. It's not working for some reason. It's plugged in and stuff, but I don't think it's doing anything. I don't get any error codes or anything. I premix and the car runs fine.
Thinking about removing the OMP and putting a block off plate there. Premixing isn't so bad.

I think you have to put some resistors in place of the OMP so that the computer still thinks its there.
Anyone have any idea on how many and what kinda resistors?

I used 330ohm resistors on the vacuum solinoids when I did the non-seq mod.

I've never heard anyone mention limp home mode with the Power FC. Does it even have this feature?

The OMP discussion bring up another question, does the Power FC even throw error codes? The only place to see this kind of stuff is on the sensor screen, and the OMP is not even displayed. I wonder if it would even care if the OMP was there.

No, there is no limp mode with the PFC.
Yes, you can check if you OMP is not working by going to the sensor/switch screen. The reading that says VMOP is the one for the OMP. Oil Metering Pump or Metering Oil Pump. The factory manual calls it Metering Oil Pump.
If that reading for it flashes, it means that you have a problem with it.

what do you pre-mix with? I think I'm going to end up doing this too.

I assume all these folks that have gotten rid of the OMP are running the PFC computer - is this correct ? If so did you completely remove the OMP and lines/wiring ?
