Accelerator Enrichment
I hate to sound noobish, and I have searched and read the manual but it really
isn't helping me understand.
Righ tnow, when car is warmed up, when I blip throttle theres is a very slight
hesitation before the RPMs go up.
I know this has to do with the Accelerator Enrichment table, however I am having
a tough time visualizing or understanding what it's doing.
In the manual, in the box below, it states:
Allow me to interpret what I think the values do:
If the values are:
For example, at 1000rpm mark, the first value says from 0 to 1000rpm, hold
injectors open for 6.0ms But I am having trouble understanding how the second column really works.
Does this mean that when after the injector has opened for that amount time in
first column, start reducing/decaying it over 2.0ms.?
isn't helping me understand.

The acceleration enrichment value is the value for the maximum injection amount when there is drastic acclerator movement.
If accelerator movement is minimal, this value will be used as a base reference point to compensate for less movement.
The acceleration enrichment fuel is added to the base fuel injection amount as soon as there is accelerator movement.
The fuel enrichment added is [Previous Accel. Enrichment Value - Decay Time Value]

You do not have to really understand their poor explanation, or even how it really works. The fuel enrichment added is [Previous Accel. Enrichment Value - Decay Time Value]
Just think of what happens mathematically with there statement.
X-Y = fuel
You want more fuel added, and you only have two adjustements to experiment with to increase fuel. Their statement tells you to increase the left column or decrease the right column.
Simple deductive reasoning and a little plug and play and .........?
