Oh, come on now. You already know the response to that one "Read the manual".

I swear, when I get this thing figured out I will do my best to help anyone w/ questions.

First: "if you wanted it to richen up at say, 5000rpms on deacceleration, what would you change?".
This can not be done as this menu is for acceleration.
In fact it can not be done at all as you describe since there is no way to richen up deacceleration only.

Second: deacceleration fuel cut is controlled by Page 33,
fuel cut recovery and it only controls the rpm at which fuel is turned back on, not richness. If set to your redline, then fuel will always be injected and you can shoot flames/backfire if that is your wish.

Third: most of us have learned the PFC by reading and experimentating with what it says. Plus having a good knowledge of BASIC automotive principles is a great advantage.

Fourth: back to page 29 and acceleration enrichment control: now go really read the last sentence on the bottom of page. It is in the box.
Thus to richen up 5000rpm; you have two choices to play with: 1. increase the AEV for 4000 rpm or
2. decrease the DTV for 5000 rpm. That is all we can determine from the manual. This can be tested by experimenting with the values.

This is easily tested by making changes for the 1000-2000 rpm range where it affects initial throttle tip in. You can play with this and lean it out or richen it up and feel the difference.

Bogging is usually caused by being too rich. Thus you need to lean it out. But remember this about acceleration enrichment control; this is for the split second initial change in throttle movement. If your bogginess continues for over .25 seconds, then the problem is either in your fuel maps, timing, fuel delievry system, or even very light misfire.
