Question 3 Bar Map........Denso sv GM

I was wondering if the denso 3 bar map was a plug n play replacement with no further modification or PFC alterations like the Gm 3 bar sensor? Or does the denso unit have to use the datalogit to program it in the PFC like the Gm sensor does?

the Denso/Apex'i 3 bar sensor is pre-programmed into the PFC. under PIM volt it should say "normal" for the stock one and then "option 1" which is for the Denso 3 bar.

The informed know that the scale/offset installed by Apexi in the PFC are off and lead to incorrect readings.

Here is the results of my calibration of an apexi 3 bar sent to me from Singapore for calibration:
direct plug in APEXI DENSO DPS-310-2000A (949940-6270) 3 bar map sensor: 45200/3300 for FD3S or 6780/3300 for Universal Datalogits.

The PFC uses a scale and offset to calculate PIM (pressure) from the 0-5 V output from the map sensor. Exactly how it does it is a question. If the values are off, then the PIM (pressure)
will not be correct.

The values in the PFC are incorrect for correct boost pressure reading.

You calibrate your map sensor using accurate equipment and an Excel worksheet that someone made a few years ago. Put the new values in with the DL and then retest.
