Hey skillzilla, I have some questions about your sr swap. well for one, what are the mods you had to do for the engine to fit in, any mods to frame or motor mounts? and is the oil filter relocation required?

 

Hi there, loved the conversion. One question tho. I've read that you had some issues with powersteering pump did you fixed it; if so what was the problem and solution.

That's awesome. I love the FC RX-7's and I love Nissan's,(used to own an 89 240 SX) so I enjoyed this thread. I am also now seriously considering a SR20DET swap myself because of this.(whenever my 13B blows) I wanted to do a 20B swap before I found out how much it would cost me. lol (crazy expensive) Also was considering a 1JZ, 2JZ, LS V8 or just rebuilding the 13B and slapping a turbo on it, but I'v always loved the SR20. The only reason I didn't do the swap in the 240 was because it was starting to rot out bad, and my FC is mint.

 

Any vids of this thing in action?

 

sr20Det motors are legit man had one in my nissan for the last 3 years..but im starting to get into rotary now myself seems really interesting n heard its fun to drive...but clean build on the sr20 fc

 

The downside to this is you did it in a s5 turbo2. Such a hard 7 to come by...
