7Mgte is a heavy engine, I think. Do you already have the engine or do you just want to this engine because it's a supra engine? I would recommend doing a LS1 swap instead. Complete engines and tranny's can be sourced from almost any junkyard and there is tons of support here so you wouldn't have to fab as much. People have built 350 Rx7's for under $8000 including car costs so it's definately a budget racer. If you feel like you still have to fab something, fab up some turbo manifolds and do a TTLS1.

Do a 1jz swap into the FC if your gonna swap in a supra engine. The 7m is one of toyota's worst motors ever. Someone has already done the 1jz swap in an FC also so he could be of assistance on it. The 1jz would also be more easily capable of 500hp and has killer top end.

Unless u already got the 7m, it's probably the worst swap u could do. That's my opinion anyway.

I'm going to have to disagree with that last statement. The 7mgte can easily be made into a bad *** engine. The main problems are the crappy HG. (cork) And the inadequite cooling system. Once you fit a 7mgte with a good metal HG, ARP studs, and upgrade to a nice cooling system. Your pretty much in the clear. The stock bottom ends can and will hold 600+ hp.

With all that said I would still go with the 1jz. It is more easily upgradeable and just better designed.

Here is a good link for swap info. The guys that run the C&N performance put down 600+ to the wheels on a stock bottom end 7Mgte motor.
