KY 2.3L turbo swap questions?

Hey guys im getting ready to start the 2.3 turbo conversion in my 85 GSL but i have some questions. One is related to the harness,do i run just the engine with the thunderbird/svo/mercury harness or do i switch everything from the rx7s harness to the ford harness? Another is how exactly did you mount the engine? Ive heard you flip the crossmember around and then beat the firewall in a bit so that you can sit the engine back far enough. Also what did you do for the transmission crossmember? And also what wiring harness would you recommend?Ive heard the mercury harness is alot simpler but where would I find one? Ive searched alot on the web and its been done enough that i would expect more info but theres no real info on it. I think that this motor would fit this chassis perfectly and that it has tons of potential to become a car that even Vipers fearlol

Thanks for your help in advance,
-Austin

Here is a link to the online instructions for a ford 5.0 swap into a fb from grannies speed shop, http://grannys.tripod.com/1F8instructions1.html it will answer alot of questions, and since the 5.0 and 2.3 turbo came from both the thunder bird/cougar/fox body mustang you can base alot of your swap on the 5.0 swap. I suggest calling grannies speed shop and see what they have to say.

Last time I checked grannies had a swap kit for the 2.3. I'm currently working on a volvo 2.3 turbo with the 16v head in a fc. The volvo 2.3 is a good alternative to the 2.3 turbo ford as then volvo comes stock with the lighter better flowing 8v aluminum head and with some m rods or just starting with a 93-95 B230FT from a 940 turbo which would have the m rods stock with oilsqurters, and the 90+ turbomanifold which you can bolt a holset hx35w to. The 2.3 volvo is more readily avalible then the 2.3 ford. Only prooblem with the 2.3 volvo is most came automatic and you would have to get a flywheel, bellhousing adaqtor from rsi to bolt on a getrag tspd or a t5 wc
