Your RX-3 for my Celica?
I'd like to see if anyone is interested in trading my 73 Celica with an 18RG, 40mm Mikuni side drafts, TRD header, and a ton of other upgrades and mods for your 74-75 RX-3. I'm only interested in an RX-3 though. If there is any interest please hit me up or call me @ 951-255-3340 Here is a pic of my car.

no not tired of it, but want both cars. I've still got the TE37. The Celica is a bigger bartering chip though.
And no RX-7's. I'm not a fan of the body style.

-18RGU,
-304/288 cams,
-40mm Mikunis or over jetted 44mm's "Your choice" the car runs better on the 40's
-RARE...GEAR DRIVE (eliminating the upper chain, ...NO other 18RG anywhere sounds the same. Similar whine to a blower on a V8).
-92mm @11:1CR
-TRD replica 4 into 2 header
-I have not done anything to the valve train yet and compression is good across all four cylinders
-LESS than 3k miles on engine build - street driven only
-Converted to electronic Ignition
-Converted to an electric fuel pump
-Installed a fluid filled fuel pressure guage in line just before the carbs. Quickly and easily read fuel pressure.
-New radiator
-Oil cooler
-Coolant overflow
-8.8mm wire set designed for the 18RG was imported from New Zealand (very low resistance, much lower than the TRD set that used to be on there)
-Electric cooling fan (manually switched from center console. Stock w/pump fan is still on the car. I also have an auto/temp switch new in box).
-Engine bay is a little dusty from sitting but is very clean. I painted it black just before the engine went in.
-Custom aluminum throttle lingage that was designed by Toysport
TRANS:
-5spd, using the stock crossmember but I found a tranny mount bushing that allowed a nice fit.
-HKS flywheel
-TRD racing clutch
That's pretty much it as far as the engine and trans go. The body on the car is really straight, and I had planned on painting it in a week or two. It's a very reliable car that I've driven to San Diego on a couple occasions with no problems what so ever. The interior is okay, the headliner, dash, and back seat are perfect. The front seats are Corolla gts seats with the driver seat tearing at the bolster. The carpet is in the car, but isn't right. It looks good, but needs to be changed to be perfect. I think that's about it. I've got more pics of teh car if you like so let me know.

Chassis:
-Primer Black...It had been prepped for paint 8yrs ago in Healdsburg Ca. Easily prepped and after some light sanding it's ready for paint.
-One area never addressed at that time was the sheet metal the trunk weatherstrip attaches to. It requires attention.
-Straight body, only blemish is rust on the rear bumper I could not remove.
-ToySport front lower chin spoiler
-Koni (red) adjustible shocks all around
-Front struts were swapped out for the larger ones from a 77/78 Celica. No negative geometry changes just larger rotors/calipers
-New brake lines
-New front Calipers
-New rear drums
-Reman. steering box
-ALL front suspension pieces have been replaced in preparation for the motor (everything from a tie-rod end to the pitman arm)
-Polly strut rod bushings
-Polly swaybar endlinks
-2.5" exhaust w/SpinTech muffler
-Unknown wheels on Sumitomo 215/50/13's ...VERY LIGHT
-Rear trunk lock is shaved and release is electric.
-Interior is black and has NO tears in the material and is in good shape. Except for the front drivers seat.
-Front Seats are from a GTS Corolla w/adj. (inflatable - yes working just fine) back and side bolsters. The drivers side has a tear in the left side bolster.
-Carpet is black and was replaced several yrs ago. It's is in great shape but has faded in a couple of spots. I suspect the dye used isn't very good because the fabric in the faded area is not weakened as it would be from sun damage.
-It needs weather strip on the body (going around the door openings
-Grant Steering wheel and Grant steering wheel security removable hub
Just a little more info on the car

actually I don't want to sell it. I'm only intersted in a trade. I've always liked the RX-3. I think it would be a nice addition to my TE37 Corolla. Kind of my own piston Vs rotor battle in my garage. Anyway if anyone shows any interst in a trade I'll send them the pics.

The TRD spoiler is on the car now. The struts would go with the car if I were to trade it. I was going to sell the car a while back, but decided against it. But yeah it is the same car. It's been a work in progress for quite a while now. I've been in a scramble to try and get it looking good for the Oct 1 Japanese classic show.

Thank you. I guess it's all a matter of preference though. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean someone else won't. Anyway the car is a very nice car. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that no one is intersted in a trade though.
I am going to start taking it apart tonight so it won't be driveable for about a month or so.

Besides, I cant find the post where it says, "SURE, I WILL TRADE MY RX-3 FOR YOUR CELICA." Please point me to the right direction as I cant find it anywhere. And if you dont like my comments, feel free not to read it.
