wheels are off by a couple of mm?

Just tried to mount a set a riken mesh wheels which i purchased from a member on my 73 rx2 sedan but having a lot of trouble. I checked the measurement on the riken assuming it was the problem but measured 4 x 110. Then I checked my stock wheels and they are off by a couple of milimeters! I thought all rx2's were 4 x110. Has anyone encountered this problem?

maybe the previous owner converted the rx-2 to 4x114.3 OR you got a set of rikens that are either 4x110 or 4x108.

i measured the rikens 3 times and they are 4 x 110. My stock rims measure larger than 4.33" but a little less than 4.5". Not sure what happened but does anyone have a 4 x 114.3 rim i can borrow for an hour so i can double check. i live in the glendale/burbank area. Thanks - Brian

4.33" is 110mm. Do you have studs installed in your hubs? If so maybe they are bent.

just measured the rikens a 4th time but with a different ruler and they are 4.25". the fist one i used showed 4.33" - crap! I should have checked the measurement before purchasing but just assumed it was 110 mm as described by the forum member. time for a refund.

I hate to say it but they sound like the 4x108mm mustang pattern to me. Some people claim they run that pattern on 4x110 with no issues. I tried to fit a 4x108 on my RX-2 once just out of curiosity and it wouldn't even go over the studs. I'd rather not bend/tweak my studs just to fit some wheels on.

Take it to an actual tire shop (ie, toyo tires @ sunset/stadium way) and have them check the bolt pattern.
