Some pics of the RX3 I'm selling.

Nah, it's just a stock RX3 carb. The RX3 air horns are more free-flowing than the RX7 carbs, though.
I've got boxes of old RX2,3, and 4 carbs and this one was really clean so I mounted 'er up.
$2000 and it can be yours! There are more details about what comes with the car in my other thread on this board.
Nice REPU by the way. Is that a new one? I thought yours was red?

AAAHHH, man I need that car! I just bought a gsl-se though Hmm, I don't have room for it but sure would like it. I need to think this one over. I know it's gonna be the one I regret not getting for the rest of my life.

I talked the the GF about it and she said she would rather own an old firebird or SAAB convertable. I was floored! I think she sees me spend so much time on my rotor cars she is concerned. Shucks.

Very nice red 3. Brings back some really great memories. I bought the third rotary sold in Massachusetts. It was a red RX3 bought off the showroom floor for the sticker price of $3410 in 1973. (I assume yours is a 73 without the impact bumpers that came out in 74.) I raced mine SCCA at Greenbriar in NH and Limerock in CT. The local Mazda dealer supplied the labor and i supplied the parts from Racing Beat. Went from the stock 90 HP to 320 HP,(The bridge porting allowed 9000 RPM for short bursts.) beefed the tranny, suspension and framing as well as adding an airdam, spoiler and wider rims with the widest V series Michilins that would fit. Ate everything in class (Mercury Capri V-6s, Porsche 911s, Jag XKEs, Datsun Zs, etc.!!) and could hit 130 MPH on the straight. Calculated top speed was about 140, but never had a long enough straight to find out. I miss the beast. My present 89 GTUs is great, but it doesn't require the driving skills that were required to push a 3 around the track. BTW: I pulled it to the track with my yellow 74 REPU and the family would come out to watch in our lavender? 74 RX4 2 dr.

Yup, I've still got it. No one has come up here to look at it.
I'm thinking about putting it on eBay.
Nice story from Dallen, my friend had a GT3 RX3 that would hit 155 on the straights.
But a LAVENDER RX4 coupe? Oh, the humanity!
