Small engine rotaries

Yes, they put them on everything from snowmobiles to motorcycles..
Mazda Trix was selling a small one about a year ago under their used parts category...
Sorry don't remember what they all came in specifically.

My brother-in-law was at an auction about a year ago, and one of the items they auctioned was a miniature boat hull type thing with a long pole which had a throttle control connected to a small rotary engine which was mounted in the hull. Seems the idea was that you could pull yourself on water skis with it! It sold for $500, I wish I'd at least seen the darn thing, sounds pretty wild to me! -WG

And this is a real neat unit:-

But , for real small wankels you gotta see this !!

My thoughts exactly. I wonder how it fares against one of the old Comet racing engines?

The rotary is designed for many hours (50+) of racing before any work is needed.
This UAV aero rotary is even better:-

500cc rotary in a sled
I used to have an Evinrude Johnson RC-35-Q snowmobile with a 500cc rotary engine in it and man did that thing fly!!!!
The sled weighed 900lbs which is extremely heavy for a snowmobile. But it would wind right up to 10 000 rpm and wanted to keep going but at that piont the breaker piont ignition wouldn't keep up
Eventually the track fell apart on it and I sold it for $200.
I just recently found a brand new motor that was originally from that sled that an old guy is selling. It is brand new still in the box with the wiring all there.
