Second Gen Suspension into a RX 2
I was thinking about swapping the front suspension from a second gen into my RX 2.
Has anybody done this? Can it be done? Pics would be nice
I think they are both trailing arm setups, so it may be possible.
What do you think?

if it can be done i am sure david will do it. just make sure you do a full write up on it. I plan on talking with a couple wrecking yards, to see if I can search for parts that might work on my rx2.

Although, I do not have it installed yet, I went with a complete custom bilstein coilover setup similar to what selectmaz sells. I also ordered all new suspension pieces from Australia. Finallly I went with The Race Shop for a custom 5 lug big brake package. As soon as I get the rear end back from the shop, I will start putting everything back together. I will try to take lots of pictures.

Got have some pics
On the second gen suspension, having it stick out a couple of inches is okay with me. I could always run the flares that is no problem. But how about the rest of the setup
Steering
shocks and springs
sways arms and all the rest of it does it bolt up or do you have to take the steering wheel as well

PM RX729 for details. He owns a 4dr duece with blow-thru. He has a modified front RX-7 front suspension that custom build by a local who has many years of RX experience in building motors and suspension for road race application. I havent seen the set-up but Orville spent $$$ on suspension alone.
