RX3MIST at vegas.
So I went to Vegas and joined the Modified class. And here are the qualifying results:
1. Justin Humphreys '03 GS300 7.946 171.90
2. Tom Shambaugh '04 Cavalier 9.191 144.01
3. Rene Franco Mazda 9.317 140.66 <~~~ Notice even NHRA didnt even know what car my brother drove...its a RX3 dammit!
4. Ken Scheepers '05 RX8 9.356 144.01
5. Ali Afshar '05 WRX 9.383 173.07
6. Jose Rapaw '05 RX7 12.665 104.22
My turbo pipe kept blowing out of place, and I still ran 9.31
On the eliminations, it was Me vs Scheepers. Once again my pipe blew out of place at the burn out, but I cut a light against Scheepers. I lost because my car ran all motor all the way with little fuel or too much fuel. In the end I got depressed knowing I would of got 2nd place because Ken Scheepers red lighted and Afshar blew his engine half way down the track. Humphreys got a bye run on the finals and won by default....
Now im going to do a total rebuild on my car and have it ready for NHRA finals at Pomona. My target is to beat the RX8 and chase down Humphreys. Here are pictures:

P.S. My car weight was 2340 lbs with me in it. Don't believe it? then come on down to the track on Pomona Oct 22-23 and see my untubbed car.
