Yes, it's a beauty all right. I've had it for over ten years.
So the REPU uses the slightly smaller '74 and newer version, eh?
I suppose I should have figured that out as the REPU was introduced in '74, duh.
I've heard that the REPU was not imported to Australia and New Zealand anyway, so it's probably a moot point.

Wow, that is a beauty. I sold one just like it but my chrome wasn't quite as nice . Mine sold for 122.00 US Yours should sell for at least that. The guy who bought mine seems to be loading up. I have watched him by 3 of these already, theres a good chance he will buy yours

I think the smaller one is actually the proper one for REPUs.
Here is the early one.
And the later one. Notice that the center part is more orange-y than the earlier one.

Well, it didn't fetch quite what I had hoped, but $103 isn't too bad for something I pulled out of my parts bin. A guy from the US bought it. I'm going to list some other stuff in the next couple of days, a '72 RX3 grille, a '74 808 grille and some '74 headlight surrounds.
I also found a bunch of BMW Bavaria trim parts I had forgotten about.
I'm such a packrat, but it's paying off now.
I get to tell my wife "I told you so", lol.
Now if I could get someone to come up here and take some of this sheetmetal off my hands...

I'd put a 150.00 reserve on that 74 808 grill. Mine barely fetched that. It wasn't worth me selling for anything less. Fortunately a local bought it and picked it up in person. so I didn't have to worry about shipping. Also once it's on ebay post it up on the Ausrotary.com in the for sale section with a link to your auction.

Hey all, I bought one of these badges about 4 years ago for my 72 RX3 in Australia for $120 dollars brand new. It is an original mazda part and I don't think you would be able to find one for sale in Aus today. cool badge
