I have allways been told "speed costs, how fast you want to go"
I have been sick for the last three monts and have not worked om my car in a while. All that is about to change tough. My new turbo should be in this week and i will post some pics of it as soon as it gets here.

Before I get the car tuned I will buy a 1.01 A/R housing. I mainly bought the 1.15 for building the header and makeing sure it will clear. I plan on porting the motor next winter and didnt want to run into clearance problems when swaping to the 1.15.

It has been a while since i updated this thread because i have actually been working on my car. I have got a lot done in the past couple of months while i have been waiting for the stainless steel to build my header. You wouldn't believe the trouble i went through to get 2 1/8 321 stainless!!! I am getting close to being ready to tune, maybe a month or so. All i have left for the car to be ready to tune is drive shaft, wide band controller, EGT gauge, coils, and a little wiring.
Since i have last posted i have mocked up the wheel-e-bar and tacked it together, finished welding the differential back brace, painted the differential housing, install the front and rear brakes, install the proportioning valve, bleed the brakes, make a throttle cable, install my new fuel pump, make a fan shroud and finish plumbing the water lines to the intercooler. At this rate i should be done soon if i don't run out of money.

So each time you have to make a new header you have to re order the steel ? did you get ut painted yet? I wanna see an overall pic!!!!!please. Keep it up-Erik

Believe it or not the only thing on the entire car that is not "legal for street use" are the front tires. I ordered the stainless over a month ago for my second header. Like i said it was a real pain to find exactly what i wanted. It was one of those deals where i knew what i wanted and no one had it, but they had something really close. So i ended up having to buy 20' of 2 1/8 .065 wall 321 stainless. At $41 a foot you can see why i was hesitant! Then i had to have it drop shipped to another shop to have it all bent into 90s. They charge a $200 setup fee per radius and a shop rate of $50 per hour!
I want to get the car tuned and get the chassis setup and make a few passes before i paint the car. I hate to think this way but i am afraid that if the chassis setup isn't spot on i take a chance of kissing the wall and don't want to have to repaint.
Thanks for the compliments
