Rotary Spitfire update
The Abomination has been to several venues since swallowing/puking an apex seal, with much better results. The car handles much better than I ever thought it would, given its scrapyard/backyard origins. Two FTD's so far, more to come (I hope!).

It is very quick. The biggest problem so far is lack of traction when the engine gets into the fat part of the power; it just starts spinning the rear tires, even with DOT stickies and limited slip. Get on it, listen for the wheelspin, back off the gas a bit. Then the tires bite and the cones lean toward you.

The cones lean toward you? Hahahaha! Sounds scary :P Good to hear that your project is going so well. Hopefully mine will work out as well.
Are you using the Mazda diff? If so, and if it uses a clutch type, you can buy LSD innards for it from Mazda Competition Parts at a reasonable price. They only allow people to buy their parts of they are driving a Masda though. I'm not sure if they are cool with a Rotary powered Spit.
