Rotary miata...ohh not another one
ok this isnt the average post rotary into miata, i am committed unlike 95% of people that ask about it, with that being said, i have a full 1988 donor car, i already have the 13b in the 92 miata, i used the 13b bell hosing on my miata trans, had to mod the trans tunnel a bit for fitment, had to mod the input shaft too, made my own custom oil pan, modded the crossmember as need as well as added reinforcement to it, basically all the mechanical work is done the engine is in.....now for wiring...i dont want to use a stand alone ems, i want to use the rx7s stock harness and ecu...has anyone have an idea of how the transition is made between the miatas harness and the rx7 harness or can i just power send power to the ecu?...i would like all my lighting to work am not worried about the the gauges since ill probably get all aftermarket ones. Am thinking that even if i remove my entire engine hasness and ecu from my miata, everything else works since i can unplug my engine harness from my underdash harness by a plug. i understand that the ecu powers the engine and the only thing powered by the car's harness is the fuel pump...anyway can anyone lead me to the right direction? thnks everyone for help...will have pics very soon
