Rewinds on RX3??

Ok so ive searched and only found threads concerning 1st gen specific! I am planning on purchasing a ste of the Konig rewind's for my 73 wagon, but i am not sure if it will fit! I am concerned about tire rub! PLZ help!

pretty much any wheel will rub, even a 13 x6. They rub up at trailing edge of the front lower part of the front fender. You can cut it (bad) or undo the screws and pull the bottom of the fender out, and redrill the holes and biolt it back up gain. This doesnt get you very much, but every bit helps.

You can run skinny tires 195 50 15 max

I have to disagree with you on that one. Im running 15x8 (73 RX-3) and 15x9 (75 RX-3) with 4.75 backspace with no issues. All Im saying is that you need the wider side inside.

I agree! You have to find the right rims, I'm running ROH 4X110 15X7 with +20 offset all around. 205 45's up front and 225 50 out back, I'm sure I can put 235 60's in the back!

I did have the front fender rub issues with 13X6 with +12 offset using 205 60's.
