im very sure that he knows that they are the same thing, what he was implying was that a 13b - RE is alot easier to make power than a 13b - T...he was just abbreviating......no need to get

the reason why i asked about the rotors was because many are saying that s4 rotors fit s6 but dont fit RE, yet s6 and RE rotors are interchangeably, which doesnt make sense,,,,so its a super confusion statement!

anyway, i wont be runnig the s4 rotors no matter what as the higher compression rotors will suit my needs alot better

i went to a drag racing day in my city today, and was VERY impressed with the 13b's that were running, they were series 4's and 5's and what i saw was more than enough than what i am looking for!!

so if the RE cannot be gotten it is going to be a series 5.

TweakGames if the motor isnt so specail then 1stly why do you use it?
and 2ndly why in your status under your nick do you say 13b -re yeup!!!
just abit arb?

Yes, I use it, and thus this is even more reason for me to know that it is over rated. I am not saying it is bad, it is just not going to drop down 400 horse without the same amount of work you would have to do on a s4 or s5 motor. Is the little bit of power you gain from the RE intake, worth all the extra cost and hassle, ... no.

If you're going to spend all that money going custom, at least go single turbo rew so that you can get rid of the stupid cas.

the reason why i asked about the rotors was because many are saying that s4 rotors fit s6 but dont fit RE, yet s6 and RE rotors are interchangeably, which doesnt make sense,,,,so its a super confusion statement!
You need to do your own research, and stop listening to your friends/local people, They DO NOT KNOW. Trust me. You are on your own on this one. With the forums, rx7club, nopistons, and others, you will be able to do it. Read, read, read, then read, then read some more, then sleep, then read.

Oh, and be prepaired to spend, 3 x more than you wanted in the rotary project, well because its rotary. Also at least 2 x more than you expended in the swap because it's a custom swap.

Good luck.
/end

The motor isn't any thing OMG wow special. It is still a 13b, 1.3 L, with slightly larger runners then the FDs REW. I own a 13b-RE, and I do think that they are over rated. Yes I said it.

The stock RE primary ports are smaller than a s5 t2. You could port out an s5 t2 plate to be equal to the stock secondary ports on the RE. It's not that special.

(and omg the exhaust ports on the stock RE, dont get me started)
+1 dksa you need to pick a route and stick wit it

First : Welcome to the club. Its nice to see another RSA member here.

Like the other guys pointed out.You have to read, read, and read.

I would suggest that you get your hands on a 12A Engine.Pref one that isnt running.Dissasemble the engine ,and learn about Rotaries from working on it yourself.

Making HP Rotary wise in RSA isnt that easy.If you have the funds, choose a 13B RE ,or as an alternative go for a S5 engine.

The internal mods to make them high HP dependable is different to USA.We have **** fuel here, and very few people that can tune a Turbo Rotary.

One mistake on Tuning, and you pay for it.

Not trying to scare you off the idea, you just need to prepare yourself for it first, and then start choosing engines etc,etc
