Are pre-RX-7 rotor housings (with the old Mazda font) worth anything?

Are pre-RX-7 rotor housings (with the old Mazda font) worth anything?

The 12a in my RX-4 has the old Mazda font on it, so I'm guessing it's from a RX-2 or RX-3. I was wondering if these old housings are sought after at all by people who want the correct parts for authentic restorations?

thanks,
james

Don't know about the restoration angle, but they are useful for building motors anyway. Most of the housings that old are not in the best condition, though. Are you talking about the RX4 you got out of the junkyard? How's that going? -Mike

Not much is going on with the Rx-4, becuase of Winter and all that. I've been buying parts for it off Ebay when I see something I need (happens rarely).

I still REALLY need a trunk latch and windshield.

The local Mazda Dealership gave me their original Mazda RX-4 Parts Manual for free, since they knew I owned one and they have never needed to use that book. It's fun to look at but sad to think all the parts #s are obsolete and useless.

antiSUV,
I found a fully intact rx-4 here in WA state a month or so ago. I will be going to snag a few parts off it sometime early next week. If its got a trunk latch, I'll grab it for you. I've checked it out, and I'm snagging the thermo reactor and a few other parts. What else do you need. It's got a windshield, but....ya' know...shipping and all.
