I've never seen you on Rx club before Doc, glad you posted some pics. The car is looking awesome. I don't see you posting much on nolimits much anymore, probably for the better, there isn't alot of rotary love on that site.
Car looks awesome.

I've never sent them any pics of the build up. I drove by the house I got it from, and the house isnt there anymore! Weird.
No plans to tube chassis it as of yet, it would help if I could get the nitrous to work.....
I dont have any videos of it doing anything else, and I dont know anyone who could host them either. Perhaps some hints?

I'm near the point of giving up on this damn car. I went to the track this weekend, and it runs like crap. I can not for the life of me figure out why the car runs great on the motor, but on the nitrous it lays over real bad and the exhaust gets real "raspy". I'm so frustrated. I need some serious help fro somebody, I dont know what else to do. Thecar has so much potential, it hooks great, the damn thing lifts the front wheels 8 inches off the ground and carries them for 8 feet or so, but lays over so bad on the nitrous I only ran a 12.8. LAME. I changed from a plate to a fogger, two foggers, jets are 36's on fuel and nitrous. Nitrous at 850 PSI was the best I could get becasue I dont have a bottle heater. Fuel pressure at 6psi. 114 octane VP fuel with 8 ounces of two stroke oil in it ( 5 gallons of gas). 20 degrees timing, NGK 10.5 plugs. Holley carb (runs great on motor, wideband says 12.4 A/F on motor, wideband gives obscure results when using nitrous though, always says the car is at 9.2 A/F no matter how I change the jets or pressure). Manual tranny, nitrous is on the shifter, i lift off the nitrous every shift, grab it again after letting out the clutch. She works great in 1st and second, but by third gear the car noses over and the exhaust note changes to a raspy sound. I even shut it off mid pass to read the plugs, they have good color (maybe I'll post a pic). I'm friggin lost guys. I need help or there will be a rotary for sale soon.

I am. The car has two holley BLUE pumps. One for the motor, one for the nitrous. -8 fuel lines, using the regulators that come with the holley pumps. The pumps use -8 feeds from the cell, with pre filters installed, then I have filters after the pump as well.

Fuel pump recommendation
I would recommend using a high pressure fuel system instead of a low pressure system. The low pressure systems are very inconsistent, and the high pressure systems will be more consistent, and support more power. It can be a little pricey, but well worth the investment. I have a bunch of information written down I can send you a PM later tonight. I think I still have the PDF files from NOS that were very helpful to me. Your jetting does not sound right. I would start with a 75 shot, and then work your way up from there. How many foggers 2 or 4?

I have two nozzles, they are the annular discharge type from NOS, and they shoot straight in from the back of the runner. I have them on the outer runners. I did a bunch of math, and they are supposed to have the same volume area of roughly one 47 jet (which is the jet you use for a 100 on a plate kit). I also did the math for the four nozzle 4 cylinder kit, and a 100 shot uses size 24 jets, and 4 24's add up to a 47 as well.

Whats bizzare is that it works good in 1st and 2nd, but halway through third is when the exhaust note changes. If its rich, does that scenario make sense? I've scheduled a dyno appointment this week to look for anything "odd" that might be taking place that I cant monitor while at the track.

By the way, I meant to tell you that your car looks awesome.....how did you repair all the rust under the windshield? I have some pretty bad down thru there and around the corners of the glass and ti looks like a major pita to remove that rust and repair it right. I was wondering what you did.

Exactly what you described sounds like a fuel supply problem. But, your AFR are showing rich so this does not make sense. Usually if you can go through 1st gear, and 2nd gear then hit 3rd with problems usually points to fuel starvation. Do you have 12 volts at each pump? Use 2 separate power sources with relays so you can keep a constant 12 volts at each pump.
Here is how I would test your fuel system for potential problems before you even put the car on a dyno.
1. Set the suggested fuel pressure settings on both carb/NOS regulators.
2. Then disconnect the fuel outlet lines that feed your carb/NOS Gas solenoid. Also diconnect the NOS Solenoid or power supply to it so you don't inject the NOS for this test.
3. Put both fitting ends into a bucket or can, then have someone assist you, and turn on the power only. NOT THE CAR.
4. The carb regulator should read 5-6 psi or whatever you set it to, and when you hit the NOS Button for at least 10 seconds you should never see a fuel pressure drop.
I know this is not a real world engine running test, but it will tax your fuel system 100% on both fuel pumps/regulators.
If you encounter a fuel pressure drop on either end of the carb or the NOS system. That should point you to the problem directly if you have a fuel starvation problem.

I'm dynoing the car this afternoon. I am hoping to find some issue with a fuel pressure drop. Hell, I'm hoping to fnd ANY issue that woud expain why my car is a turd. Wish me luck, I'll keep you all posted. Thanks RotaryEng for the suggestions, we will be watching for that scenario.

The fuel pump you might want to look at is the aero motive fuel pump lil pricey at almost 400-450 bucks and then you have to run two fuel filters as suggested by aero-motive. but there well worth it end the end, and you don't have to worry about running two fuel pumps like you are right now. Pretty much nocking out two birds with one stone per say.
Home boy up top is right you have set the shot even to what ever you plan on running. Oh and do what rotory engineering said and for sure you will see if your setup is starving for gas.
Good luck man!! AND PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP ON THE CAR ROME WASN'T BUILT OVER NIGHT. IT WOULD BE A HUGE LOSS TO A CAR THAT HAS ALOT OF POTIENTAL
