Looking to buy a 1967-69 Cosmo 110, any for sale?

Hello All,

If anyone has a 1967 through to 1969 Cosmo 110s for sale or knows of one for sale please contact me or send me the info. That is if you are not greedy enough to want it for yourself if you aren't the one selling it.

Thanks in advance,

Max G

Hi Max,

Jay Leno's Cosmo ia a 1970 Model L10B series. The Cosmo/110s were sold from 1967-1972 in which only less than 1200 were produced. The 1967 models are known as L10A's and the 1969-1972 are known as L10Bs. The L10Bs are slightly longer and more powerful. The Cosmo that Jay Leno owns now was advertised in "Hemmings Motor News" a few years back for $40,000!

Hello,

Thanks for all the info. Actually any Cosmo will do from 1967 through to 1972. From what you informed me I would prefer the longer 110b versions.

If I recall Leno's had a non original engine. I prefer orignal but on this model I know I cant get picky.

thanks fo the info.

Max

There's probably half a dozen in barns, people are constantly finding classic cars in barns it seems... in 2003 they found one of the original DeLorean prototypes in a barn for instance and then a few years ago someone found an original Shelby Cobra in one.

Check your barns, folks!

yeah but those are cars we actually got here, it would be more unlikely to find a cosmo in a barn.

Hello,

I know of the two in Phoenix. I think they are owned by the sme person. I PM'd him/her who is on this forum mentioning that if thye were interested to sell I might be interested in buying. No reply yet. I assume they get many requests like mine.

Thanks all for the help. I have emailed the site that has the one in Japan for sale and await more information before I make any moves. I do live in Canada so thats a bonus. If I do go for it it may cause me to have to thin out my collection of cars; 1976 Corvette Stingray, 1974 Alfa GTV (I think I just sold it today for $17 500.00), and a 1972 Triumph STAG. I will try and hold off on partng with my 74 RX4 as I would love to see the two side by side in my garage.

regards

Max

The 68 Cosmo is now Sold.

Hello All,

I inquired into the 68 Cosmo for sale listed on that site. So the Cosmo is now sold. Don't get excited I wasn't the one who purchased it. I was too late. It was listed over a month ago. . On goes my quest. They did offer to scour Japan in search of one for me. I will send them a list of my criteria.

Regards

Max

they really managed to trash the interior on that one

nice car nonetheless, I'd trade my FD for a cosmo in an instant.

(I mean that literally btw, if any cosmo owners want an FD, send me a PM! even if your car is less than "pristine")

couple years back i was thinking of buying a cosmo.. was listed at 35k.. not running with a 12a and what i assumed was the original motor in a box. both not running.. in decent condition located in los angeles california,, so i contacted some peoples in japan and i was told that a cosmo 110s could be had for as lil as 20k running with original motor in really good condition.. so a 35k non-running isn't that great of a deal if ya know someone in japan that can do some leg work for you..
