Jay Leno's Suzuki RE5
Jay Leno just did a segment on his Jays Garage website featuring his all original Suzuki RE5 Wankel powered bike. I'm really excited to see him getting into rotary powered vehicles. Maybe he'll be building a 20B soon?

Jay has been "into" rotaries for a long time. Even before he bought the Cosmo from Bruce. To my knowledge, he's had a Hercules W2000 for awhile, an RO80, and even a Wankel Spider, but I'm not certain, just what I have heard. I do seem to remember seeing an RO80 in the background of a photo or two from his garages once years ago in a magazine somewhere.
The funny thing about the Milner car to me is that when Bruce had it advertised for sale, it was reputed to be "all original", "runs great", and was the only Series II Cosmo in the US (which was wrong). Supposedly, from what I had heard on his interview on My Classic Car, the car had the original 10A/B when Jay got it, but it was beyond repair. Jay had Mazdatrix build the 12A that is currently in it, which according to what aerosev says, Bruce must have installed in the car before selling it to Jay??
Neal.

i actually almost bought that car right before Jay got it. he wanted 35k for it and at the time it had a 12a in it in an unknown condition. the 10a was in a crate. didn't get it coz at the time my connections (in japan) told me a 110s in japan in all original condition running could be had from japan for 20K.

Yes, I am aware he has been into rotaries for some time now. It's only in the last 2 years or so that he's been publicly showing his interest in he Japanese brands though which is really bringing the spotlight on the vintage Japanese cars.
