Help me ID this carb.

I was told it was a Webber 44 something. The only 44's I can find any info on are the 44 IDF. Yes? No? You guys have been a big help before. Thanks in advance.

Since it has the old Rotary Engineering intake, it's more than likely the Weber 48 mm IDF. RE didn't offer a 44 mm version. If you look down the carb throat, you should see 2 raised cast numbers designating the venturi size. 48 mm would be the maximum venturi size that can be installed.

Setup looks to be in excellant condition, hang on to it.

That looks like a RE Weber IDF carb. It has a choke. If you clean off the outside of the carb with carb cleaner you'll see the stampings on the body which will answer the question.
