Thumbs up Finally my Half bridge RX2

Well my car is finally done
73 RX2 88TII Half bridge engine and TII Tranny.
Port and polished exhaust ports.
pined all 4 corners.
650 holley carb with RB exhaust mani and headers.
stage 3 ACT brz Clutch and pressure plate with counter weight
Aluminum radiator with 2 new electric fans.
Everything from atkins rotary but the apex seals (super seals)
much much more...

Engine work done by TOP ROTARY (FJDRX7) TX.

put the pics when we install the engine and tranny, dont forget the custom mounts for the tranny (gsle w/ turbo ii mounts )

Nice work, how do you like the half bridge so far? I'm quite enjoying mine in my Rx-4. Can't imagine what that would feel like in a small car like the duece.

I actually like it, the power and torque are there plus you have that beutifull Brap sound present all the time without the full bridgeport sacrifice.

That's what I've found with mine as well. Nice smooth torque, even from down low and good power all the way up. It really comes to life at about 5000rpm though. Cruising along in 4th gear (I'm still rocking the stock 4 speed) you can just give it about half throttle and it just pulls. Gotta love the Brap Brap too. Enjoy it man!

I get these weird outbursts sometimes of building and selling but im no longer gonna sell it, im just gonna start working on another first gen RX7 very soon and just keep the Deuce for a sunday car.

Not yet, gotta do some carb modding this week and some other ideas to make the deuce enjoy its bridgy.

Plus waiting for my new RB exhaust and heat sheild to get here.

Today I just took off the Holley 650 carb and the RB intake manifold to fix some things, the holley will be completly modified and the intake manifold is gonna be ported, my buddy made me some new oil cooler lines and well be doing some mean tuning this weakend, even the RB header will be opened modified and rewelded.

I'm interested to know what you used for exhaust. I reworked my exhaust to make it quieter and I've lost a bit of power so I'm still open to new ideas. Losing power on a NA setup isn't an option.

I actually went 2.5 straight to a RB TII power pulse exhaust and it feals good but I would have gone 3 the next time.
